Canmore Information Current Date & Time in Canmore, Alberta, Canada Gondola Webcam This beautiful view of close by Banff is taken from a webcam on the summit of Sulphur Mountain. The updates every five minutes. Most days are clear but during bad weather, the camera may show a gray or black picture.
A visit to the Banff Gondola & Hot Springs is 5 credits. The gondola transports visitors to an elevation of 2,281 meters (7,486 feet) above sea level to the top of Sulphur Mountain where visitors enjoy an unobstructed 360° view of the Canadian Rockies, the most majestic mountains in the world. The Banff Hot Springs are naturally occurring and can be enjoyed throughout the year. Visitors are treated to a view across the valley to Mount Rundle. Climate & Current Weather Conditions The spring thaw begins in April and the first flowers bloom in May, when Canmore starts to bustle with spring and summer activities. June through August are the warmest months, though evenings can still be cool so dressing in layers of lightweight clothing is ideal. Autumn begins in September, when foliage changes to beautiful hues of red, orange and yellow. Frosty days signal the arrival of winter in November when light dustings of snow highlight the majestic mountain ranges and enthusiasts pull out winter activity equipment. |
