Tour Guide Program

Description
This four-week program is designed for international students who have interest in the Tourism Industry and hope to improve their English and leadership skills.
Through this program, guide-training classes will be held in
the mornings from 8:30-11:30 covering topics such as:
tourism-related vocabulary, guiding language, confidence in
public speaking as well as resume and interview preparations.
Leadership and confidence will be challenged through projects and presentations.
In the afternoon from 12:30-15:30, English communication and topic lessons will be offered. On Fridays, there will be full-day sightseeing tours
where students will gain additional knowledge about the Rocky Mountains.

offering apologies
• Parks Canada services and management

Tour Guide Program


*Note: Our Tour Guide Program is for students that meet the CLB 4+ Level requirement. Our LOHAS Program is for students at a CLB 5+ Level. The levels are intermediate/Advanced levels. Placement Testing will be on the first day of classes. If a student does not meet the required level or if there are less than 5 students registered for this course, students will be transfered to our English Communication Gold Program.
