English and the Environment (LOHAS)


Description
Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) is a term describing the growing number of people and businesses (currently $228.9 billion US) determined to make choices that help the environment, personal health and global cultures. BEC offers a 4-week course in the language and techniques of LOHAS to help non-English speakers access this strong and growing market for goods and services. The Canadian Rockies offer numerous opportunities to learn from and participate in businesses that embrace the LOHAS approach.
